We are seeking an individual who is intelligent, well organised & friendly senior accountant to join our close team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review work performed by graduate accountants
- Preparation of accounts and income tax returns for companies, trusts & SMSF’s
- Processing of client accounting data and preparation of business activity statements for our larger clients
- Handling client tax queries and assisting with Xero
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Australian accounting firm
- Completed your Chartered Accountant exams (or nearing completion)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly driven, motivated, willing to learn and develop skills further
- Competent user of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Xero certification (payroll essential – migration preferred)
